Our one-day Web Application Security workshop has been presented multiple times to Central-1 and other organizations.

A customized three-day version of our "Secure Web Application Development and Testing" course was presented to MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-Op) in late 2010. All our training offerings are customizable to customer requirements - please contact us to inquire. The full four-day version of this course has been presented at least once annually for the last five years.

Our four-day training offering, "Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments", was presented October 27 - 30, 2008, May 5 - 8 and Dec 8 - 11, 2009. This course covers the major hacking techniques, shows how to determine one's own vulnerability to such attacks, and how to protect against them. Two more successful presentations of our four-day "Secure Web Application Development and Testing" course took place, May 12 to 15, 2008, and April 28 through May 1, 2009 (13 students in each class), at the On-Track Computer Training facility in downtown Vancouver (1600 - 650 West Georgia St.) The course outline and some background information is available here.

Rui has taught the the Mile2 Certified Penetration Testing Specialist / Expert bootcamp in Tampa, Florida (July 7 through 12, 2008), a Certified Penetration Testing Specialist class in Ottawa (early December '08), and a CWNA/SP bootcamp in Kansas City, KS in December '09).

  • Wireless Network Security Complete (4 days) 
    • This four day hands-on course is intended to provide network and system administrators with the knowledge and skills necessary to securely design, deploy and manage enterprise-wide wireless local area networks; and to test the security of wireless networks for weaknesses.
    • There are two major focii for this course: How to secure wireless networks and how to attack them.
