Our Principal Consultant is Mr. Rui (Roy) Pereira, B.Sc.(Hons), CIPS I.S.P, CISSP, CISA, CWNA/CWSP, CPTE/CPTC. Mr. Pereira has over 30 years of IT industry experience, with the last 15 years specializing in Information Security, Audit and training services. He has a wide range of technical and management experience in a variety of technologies and business areas.

Rui was the Chair of the  West Coast Security Forum (WCSF) in 2003, and  was a committee member for many years before that. He has been a member of the CIPS Security SIG, and was a member of the committee until recently. Rui is also a member of PolCyb , the Society for the Policing of CyberSpace, and of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association). 

Rui lives on top of a mountain in the suburbs with a cat that sometimes answers to the name of Gadget  (when he feels like it). Oh yes, there is also a wife (or two) and some kids, somewhere. Otherwise he concerns himself with aspects of net neutrality and the digital divide.
